NAACP Attempts to Cover up Pro-Rapist Record- After Ohio NAACP Leader Attacks the Steubenville Rape Victim

"The NAACP advocates strongly for a society where victims of rape and sexual assault came come forward and seek legal redress without further retribution from the community, media or society at large.” - NAACP Department of Damage Control
An NAACP leader in Ohio went off script and blamed the Steubenville rape victim for her own rape:
Royal Mayo, a lifelong resident of the Ohio city that gained national infamy following the rape of the girl by two Steubenville High School football players, says that attention should be focused on the role of the young woman, whom he calls the "alleged victim," saying she was drunk and wanted to go out with one of the football players. He also claims that other teens involved in the incident were let off easy, because they were "well-connected." International Business Times.
Read the whole article, it's a doozy and completely CONSISTENT with our prior dealings with the NAACP in their campaign to gurantee that no Black rapist is ever punished for their violent criminal acts. Most of you have never actually read the NAACPs policy objectives- but they are definitely NOT in the interests of Black women and girls who live under the tyranny of violent oppression via criminals.
Anyone who has been reading this blog knows good and darned well that the NAACP is pro-rapist, first foremost and dayum near always. The only reason they  issued a statement so quickly in this case is that the Steubenville victim has more public support than the Black women and girls the NAACP typically tries to throw under the bus to protect rapists.

Genarlow Wilson
The NAACP gave Genarlow Wilson an AWARD after Mr. Wilson, much like Ma'lik Richmond videotaped himself violating an uncoinscious Black girl in Douglasville,GA.
I'd call that pro-rapist.

Dunbar Village - Dunbar Village- Dunbar Village
The NAACP refused to comment on the racist acts of the West Palm beach housing authority which left a grounp of Black women terrorized by roving gangs of criminals and ultimately resulted in a brutal gang rape and torture of a single Black woman and her child. Richard McIntyre of  NAACP HQ told me "Black on Black crime is not part of our mission."  Y'all remember that mess?

Then a few months later, the NAACP local branch organizes a rally in the Dunbar Village case... on behalf of the ten boys who raped and tortured the single Black mother.
That's pro-rapist.
23 Black bloggers, both men and women, basically rallied to melt their switchboard at NAACP HQ to get them to relent.
Here is a podcast where I confront the Florida State President of the NAACP about their immoral acts in the Dunbar Village case.
Listen to internet radio with Gina The Hostess on Blog Talk Radio
BTW I should have gotten an Academy Award for my performance on that podcast. It's also one of the few remaining places you can hear the original audio from the rally they organized for the Dunbar Village rapists.  "We will not be held accountable." - Richard McIntyre, NAACP Spokesheeple

History of Conodoning Sexual Exploitation of Women
Two out of the last 4 NAACP presidents have left under a cloud of sexual abuse after they used their position and power to turn the women who work at NAACP national headquarters into their personal Harem.
That's a pro-sexual exploitation agenda.
Lexington Kentucky - Black Boys Victims
And then there is this from a WAOD reader regarding a serial rapist in Lexington Kentucky:
In 2011 the NAACP in Lexington KY gave an award to man who was CONVICTED of raping boys in this city. After being released they gave him a pioneer award. NAACP chapters are equal opportunity offenders regarding the feelings of those who are victims of rapists. WAOD Facebook Page
So noted!
What many of you don't know is that the NAACP has a national agenda to make sure that no Black male predator is ever incarcerated for any reason... even if the victims of the predators are largely Black people. They don't care. They are anti-incarceration. Period.
I guess they think the government should send the gang rapists and murders to a unicorn city in the clouds. Most of the NAACP activists at the National Headquarters don't actually live in the neighborhoods where these criminals are waging war on ordinary citizens. So its easy to crank out papers about incarceration when you're not catching hell from free roaming violent criminals.

Please do not forget the NAACP giving child rapist R. Kelly an image award while he was defending himself against charges that he urinated and had sex with a 13 year old girl on video. I can take a hint NAACP! You certainly don't represent me.

Love your posts! Don't have anything to add. Because you said exactly what I was thinking! And to think when I was in college. I was planning to volunteer for my local chapter of the naacp! Which is crazy because its clear black men and the naacp care nothing for black women and girls. And they care nothing about the deterioration of the black community, and the black people who do nothing to uplift their own race!

You ended this post with what I was going to mention in my comment: these mis-leaders do not live in the communities that produce these criminals. Their pro-rapist, pro-BM criminal stance hasn't gone without notice. What's sad is that there are so many people-many of whom are targets for the BM predators- that still believe that the NAACP is on their side.

I have never given them money, and never will. I discourage others from giving them money, as well. I make sure that those in my close circle know that I refuse to support people that deify criminals that would glady attack me and my family if they had the chance.

One of the wonderful things about the internet is if you put anything out there, it's easy to pull it back up. The NCAAP can't backtrack, they celebrate rapist in one instance and yet they condemn members who are consistent.

@Blogmother

I read about this story at Twitchy before learning you had posted it:

http://twitchy.com/2013/03/28/revolting-head-of-steubenville-naacp-says-alleged-teen-rape-victim-was-drunk-and-willing/

One interesting tidbit Twitchy reveals is that Royal Mayo was charged with abusing his girlfriend:

http://www.wtov9.com/news/news/domestic-violence-charge-against-steubenville-naac/nJPGy/

Suddenly, Mayo going off script regarding rape makes a WHOLE lot of sense.

I have never seen the NAACP stick up for damaged criminal minded black women unless she was allegedly victimized by a white man. There are black women and girls getting into trouble committing crimes and when they do they don't have the NAACP in their corner making excuses for their bad behaviors.I think it's sad that so many black people have the mindset that black men and boys = delicate flower to be saved and white knighted for while black women and girls are disposable. I'm actually disgusted by it.

"One interesting tidbit Twitchy reveals is that Royal Mayo was charged with abusing his girlfriend:....Suddenly, Mayo going off script regarding rape makes a WHOLE lot of sense."

That's how it is in many cases. These men don't just show their damaged because they say crazy things, they normally have acted on it ad we just don't know about it yet. Don't forget about this guy.Whom like many other black men have mad a profession out of their hatred for black women

People like them are the reason that I suggest black women and girls should flee majority black neighborhoods and avoid relationships with a lot of black men. This would include some male and female relatives that don't believe in black male accountability. The mindsets are screwed and their culture is to hate women, specifically black women.

March 30, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTruth P.

First thing that came to my mind was the R. Kelly example. Someone beat me to it.

As a Black man... i'm embarrassed by the NAACP, Rappers and the whole rap culture... Black culture in as a whole (what used to be a positive culture has now been hijacked). The Ohio case, Rick Ross... R. Kelly and the rest of these beasts... have made it ok for America to view black men as rapists & evil criminals by default. People really do believe that this is the natural state of black males. No coincidence that a poll last year found that most surveyed had negative views of Black folks. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/10/27/1151085/-AP-51-of-Americans-prejudiced-against-blacks It's becoming harder to be black with a culture that encourages/condones this kind of negative behavior.

So how exactly are all black women and girls going to flee something that they are more than half of? And if not all, which ones are you going to suggest stay behind? The less educated ones? The less physically fit ones? Are there any black men you suggest to leave or should ALL black men stay? Should the black men who have left go back?

Your entire premise seems similar to eugenics or something.

"I think it's sad that so many black people have the mindset that black men and boys = delicate flower to be saved and white knighted for while black women and girls are disposable."

What is the bases for this perception? It seems to be quite contradicted by the study below:

http://news.uchicago.edu/article/2010/08/27/new-book-calls-social-workers-better-address-needs-black-men

April 1, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterGood

@ Good, wouldn't you want the people that you love to live in safety? Don't you think black women and girls should refrain from getting involved with men who don't believe in black male accountability for crime? People are allowed to live where they choose. Just like when Harriet Tubman helped slaves run to freedom - everyone didn't want to go. And if you look at the recent history of the NAACP, you can see how black men and boys are valued, while black women and girls are thrown under the bus.

April 1, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDonnadara

Donnadara

You are absolutely right. People should live where they want (and where they can afford). This includes black communities if they desire to live in them. I don't tell people where they "should" live. That is what you are doing. Harriet Tubman helped slaves who wanted freedom. She didn't try to force slaves to run away.

You also seem to function under something akin to the Apex Fallacy, replacing high social status with media attention. The incidents that garner NAACP attention are an immensely miniscule number of instances of black men being in trouble. If you look at the vast majority of cases and incidents not garnering media and political attention, black men are actually the ones thrown under the bus. The study I cited has shown this.

You automatically see more media and NAACP attention on black men because black men are the ones in trouble the most. The instances of intoxication rape of gay (or straight) men and rape of prison inmates gets no attention. Sex between adult women and underage boys (black or non-black) is very common, yet not taken seriously:

http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2012-09-02/local/35495817_1_child-sexual-abuse-abuse-cases-abuse-prevention-group

Black male on black male violence is far less attention than black male on black female violence. Black men get more time for crimes than black women who commit the same crimes (this is true for other races). I can go on:

From Blogger Good - 'So how exactly are all black women and girls going to flee something that they are more than half of? And if not all, which ones are you going to suggest stay behind? I'm not even going to answer that question. This is not hard to understand. I don't know why your so 'Confused' about what black people should do, when it has already been explained here, and on numerous other sites. Which makes me think that your just playing simple, and you don't want to admit that some black people are just dbr - damaged beyond repair, and that they should be left alone, because they do nothing for their people.

It has already been explained why and how black women and men should flee from dangerous environments and people who will do them harm, or bring unnecessary drama into their life. And how the black community refuses to address its own problems. It has already been explained here that the black community has been dying for decades. And how many black men who harm or psychologically abuse black women are not being held accountable for what they do to them.

But you would rather argue and ask simple questions while black people around you are abused or dying daily. And we're simply telling black women and men to take control of your life and relationships. Don't let other people control your life. Don't get involved with people who have messy lives. Create a life plan for yourself and don't let other people discourage you from your life's goals. And black women should also expand their options to all men, and not just focus on black men only.

April 1, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterkeisha

Its only when black women have life goals, and create plans to flee from or detach themselves from the black people or black communities that are dangerous to them and do nothing to help their own people - that some black people suddenly have all these questions about why black women are abandoning their people. When black women are the ones that protect and stay with other harmful black men that do nothing for them. And live unprotected in dangerous neighborhoods, where black men refuse to protect or support them. And who also take care of other lazy people. And when they make plans that don't involve saving, protecting, or financially supporting black men or their community - suddenly black people come with the fake black unity bull sh**. When they never ask these same questions and harass the black men who left their violent communities to date or marry other races of women, and move to safe neighborhoods - And who do nothing to give back to their own communities, while spoiling their wives and new family. That's how I know they're not serious about saving or protecting their own people. So they can take their fake concern somewhere else.

I don't even know why y'all are paying attention to anything Good is saying. It's really clear what his or her agenda is. Invading a space with a clear purpose and voice solely for the purpose of being disruptive. Whining and complaining things that do not even appear in the blog post and basically attempting to get many of you to refight a fight that has already been fought.

You don't need anybody's permission to live wherever in the heck you want to live or love who you want to love.

And the answer is NO Good does not want you to be safe. Good is looking out for Good and I suggest you do the same.

Your right Blogmother. I will not engage blogger Good anymore. His/Her agenda is to gaslight and lie to black women to keep them from improving their lives. To keep them muling for the black community, while black men continue to do whatever they want and blame black women for everything like they have been doing for decades. While black men go off and live the good life. And while black men are never held accountable for anything and remain blameless.

@Blogmother awesome post!! Thanks for uploading that podcast, I would've never heard it otherwise and yes you did a great job. You played Mr. McIntyre when he hung up...LOL!!...but you invited him to rebuttal you...priceless! I love that the callers were so passionate and how they were not having the "talk in circle" answers, or "say a lot without saying anything" convenient play from the NAACP distract them. There is no plausible explanation for the prejudice they've shown towards black women and they know it. How they behaved towards the victims in this case sounds jacked up, because it is. Shame on them for deflecting. I agree with everything you posted @MrsGlam, they won't see one red cent from me either!

"Most of the NAACP activists at the National Headquarters don't actually live in the neighborhoods where these criminals are waging war on ordinary citizens. So its easy to crank out papers about incarceration when you're not catching hell from free roaming violent criminals". Thank you @Blogmother, because I'm convinced that they won't truly understand until/unless it happens to them and or their families.

Don't know where you get this notion from and it is unfortunate how the term "gaslight" is being so readily used so inappropriately.

"People should live where they want (and where they can afford)." <--I hope black women saw what "Good" was trying to attempt there. Planted that seed."You poor black women should just live in the slums where it's is affordable.Even if you have the desire to move else where remember you can't afford to live anywhere else.Don't even think about getting a room mate or a second job to live where you'd like.don't think about taking advantage of those college loans and opportunities to study abroad, just stay where you are." This is what Good really is saying.Read between the lines

"This includes black communities if they desire to live in them." I don't tell people where they "should" live. That is what you are doing."<--"Good" seems to be very upset that we even SUGGEST,cause last time i checked black women do have free will, black women leave majority black neighborhoods that are unsafe physically and spiritually for black women and girls.Any black woman or girl actually living in these places knows the pain and trauma associated with simply existing there.

"Harriet Tubman helped slaves who wanted freedom. She didn't try to force slaves to run away"<---This is very telling.out of everything "Good" says I hope black women took notice to this."Good" likens you all to slaves who don't won't to run away from the majority black hell hold plantations. How dare we even suggest a thing like that.

I just hope that black women and girls in the reading audience can discern from who has their best interest at heart and who clearly doesn't.

April 3, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTruth P.

Very sad to see how the NAACP has descended into becoming an organization that supports criminal Black men. Too bad that they've allowed their reputation to be so badly tarnished. There was a time when they used to do good for the entire Black community. Looks like they've decided to abandon half of the community to support rapists and other thugs.

And yes, I would advise Black women to leave all-Black communities that are unsafe as soon as you can afford to do so. There is no need to live in fear, unless you're stuck because of financial reasons. And even then, I would rather rent a room in a safe neighborhood than live in an unsafe all-Black community for next to nothing. My life is very valuable to me.

Years ago, I told my friends to stop supporting the NAACP, by going to their "breakfasts" and paying the $40 fees to do so.. The NAACP is morally sick and depraved, and they are becoming worse, not better. I've noticed that when I explain the actions taken by the NAACP to friends and family, they begin to understand that they should no longer support the NAACP.

So, we should continue to speak out against the NAACP's "wrong" actions. It does work, even if it takes time for the message to get through.
