What's Your Good News?

Concrete Loop had an amazing post up yesterday featuring 2009 graduates. Elementary school, high school, undergrad, dental school. It was beautiful to see. Each person had a one line description about their future plans. I loved it so I had to pass it on to you. Here is the link to the Concrete Loop post.I loved that she opened up the post with a group of Black women from Meharry Medical School.)
Dr. Mekonnen, Dr. Gibson, Dr. Williams, Dr. Larry, Dr. Merriweather, Dr. Davis, Dr. Willis, Dr. Williams, and Dr. Walker. Recent graduates from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. They all received their Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

I want to thank you for posting that link. There is something SO SEXY about a beautiful woman posing in her cap and gown with a gorgeous smile.

coming at a time when I read so much about black folks going to college but not graduating, I'm happy to see this.

I'm excited about my new blog that's less than two weeks old. I'm not just excited about it; I'm excited about the fact that I started, not pausing because I was intimidated by the web......it's so funny what we allow to hinder us....often the unknown. lol. I probably would have started years ago if I would have known it was this easy. Thanks for the work you do!
