Black Blog Readers Hunt Down the Really Crappy Black Parents

We linked to a video of two little Black girls who were cursing up a storm on a internet video in our post, Parenting Tip From the Childless: If Your 7 y.o. Looks Like She is Selling “Cookies” Online, They Need to be of the Girl Scout Variety
Well blogger, Sandra Rose put out a cyber APB to hunt down the person or persons responsible and her army of readers got to work. Someone purporting to be the godmother of one of the girls sent an email saying that the video was filmed by a MINOR ( uh huh) and that the reason the little 7 YEAR OLD GIRL had a Myspace page was to promoting her "modeling career." Modeling what? Baby hoochiePHAT? Or House of VeryWrong (Dereon) Girls?" And WHAT modeling agency tells its child models to curse like sailors and contort their bodies in provocative positions? Which agency? As one commenter said over at SR "who is the little girl trying to become a model for? magic city? platinum 21? body tap?" Well anyway here is a portion of the email that was sent by someone purporting to be "Tasha":
One small problem, the photos on the little girl's page was watermarked with the Myspace URL to "Tasha". I am just counting the days until CPS knocks on somebody's door. Wow talk about the power of the Black Blogosphere we're becoming cyber CPS. Who says all we do is read about Usher and Beyonce.

My 7 yr old god daughter HAD a myspace pg to help promote a modeling carreer it is was strictly business nothing more. As for the pictures of the other children I HAVE NO RESPONSIBLITY FOR THAT!! Little black girls want to dress for temptation, little white girls want to dress like the singer of Within Temptation...
This might sound cruel but this cyber-embarassment is a good thing. We need to reattach a stigma to parents and guardians of out of control children. This is called social pressure and it has value.
Al, I agree. Shame has value. Unfortunately most shame for vile behavior has been lost. Let them feel bad for the shameful behavior of grown ups.
Some little white girls want to dress like Paris Hilton and Tara Reid, but I digress.
Shame the parents of these two little GIRLS so that they might be saved. I don't care what needs to be done.
I agree on that. But Neither rap,or any dimwitted female celebrity are to blame for this, only their parents. How does these girls behave in school?
I'm seeing more and more black girls making entries on the Myspace pages of popular metal bands, wich proves that they must be going tired of rap...

In replying to whitefanofgina, a groupie (as the little say in video) is a groupie and a groupie will try to be noticed anyway they can. Let's not start point black and white out here. Just like you see black girls moving to metal pages, you see white girls all over the Hip Hop/Rap pages and posting profiles on black site such as Black Planet It's a self esteem/want to be loved by someone thing because I'm not getting it from where it should be coming from. HOME. Getting tired of Rap has nothing to do with it.
Back to the little girls. The mom is seeking the love and respect she is not getting through trying to pimp the lives of her little girls, either unknowingly or just not caring that she's actually doing them harm. I sent an email out to people who I knew to put the mama on blast and to show that we still have some work as a COMMUNITY to do. Mama Tasha thinks its funny and cute now, but if the girls continue down this path she'll see how cute it is in 6-7 years when they're calling her the B$%@!. I used to work with kids for years that came from that environment. Its not pretty.

There are more massive postings by up-and-coming- and wannabe rappers on the myspace pages of rappers than messages from fans, while fans and other bands on the pages of Metal bands tend to keep it shorter.
I understand the power of shame but the folks posting these horrible acts feel no shame - or else they wouldn't have posted them in the first place. Instead of fowarding provocative pics of our kids through cyberspace, You can write a short description, a powerful prayer, and forward the link to your local dcs/cps department. Why continue to put the kids in the spotlight for their parents' stupidity?
