Bishop Weeks aka Mr Juanita Bynum is Still Indecent and Out of Order

Y'all remember how throughly disgusted I became with Juanita Bynum and her husband Probationer Bishop Tommy "The Hit Man" Weeks when their divorce turned into a tawdry circus-like affair that they foisted upon the American public. Remember how I said I would never write about them ever again? Well, just like all of you who vow to never read this blog ever again in life, I LIED.
A WAOD reader couldn't resist sending me THIS tidbit that Bishop Weeks is looking for a new bride:
Taking a page from ESSENCE magazine and Tyler Perry, he is preying upon the Achilles' heel of Black women, the unwavering desire to be married/coupled... to any .man. who. bothers. to ask. Heck they don't even have to ask, Black women just have to HOPE that they MAY think about asking one day.
This false prophet has decided to launch a contest called "Who Will be the next Mrs. Weeks?" In fact they have a logo. You can email MRSWEEKS@bishopweeks.com if you are interested.
The sad thing is that women will be lining up to marry this man despite the fact that he had to plead guilty to handing out a beat down to his wife in a parking lot. Threw her out of a car, tried to destroy her entire career and then had the audacity to write about it and then "withdrew" his book. Yes, she flung her own share of dirt and acted ridiculously as well with her threshing floor and $10,000 pens.
Now the Bible scholar in me has just thought up about fifteen different reasons why this is five kinds of wrong. Including his pride in being a "global entrepreneur" Oh yeah and all you bloggers who need a new template, the good Bishop is into web designing now according to his video introduction.
If you want to be throughly disgusted listen to them ( the Bishop and his teenage staffers) as they talk about the age minimum. He is willing to consider ages 21 and up. Then he says he wants to have children and "can she have children." Why would you want to have children and what are you going to do to them when they make you "angry"? Punch them? Kick them? Try to choke them in the parking lot? Then after he and his motley crew list the criteria he is looking for he takes a picture of a white couple that came with the picture frame as his ideal of the relationship he is looking for. Where is that in the Bible?
BLACK WOMEN HEAL THYSELVES. I am serious! Until you do you will be preyed upon and engage in absolute complete and total foolishness like offering yourself ( or your innocent children) up like a golden calf to a man. In this case, the man has already proven that he is a sucky husband to TWO OTHER WOMEN. Now the common denominator in all of his failed relationships is Bishop Weeks.
I think I am going to take a couple of weeks off of blogging to finish my book "Girl, Don't Do It!" Get a dog. Get a hobby. Go adopt a baby. Do something, but don't enter the Who Will Be the Next Mrs. Weeks Competition.
Bishop, I know you are going to read this post because you are the kind of person who Googles himself. How about I list one of my ideal "criteria" in the future "Mr. WAOD". The first criteria is no violent criminal convictions on your rap sheet. Sorry Bishop, that rules you out!

Weeks will document his effort to open his heart to love again in 10 streaming video “Webisodes” starting next Tuesday on his Web site www.bishopweeks.com. The idea came after Weeks was flooded with thousands of e-mails and letters from people offering advice about what to look for in his third wife. Some even offered to be his wife.
“There are some very adamant women,” says Weeks’ associate, Minister Guy Reeves of Global Destiny. “A lady from Belgium flew all the way here to meet him. She came to the campus. She wanted to be the next Mrs. Weeks like many others who have approached me about their strong desire to be Bishop Weeks’ wife.”
Weeks says he is opening his life to his followers so they can get a Christian perspective on dating and coping with the desire for intimacy.
“What kind of advice would you give me about the new Mrs. Weeks?” he asks on a Web site promo of the episode.
“We will probably find in due time who is that perfect woman for me,” Weeks says. “This time I’m not going to limit it just to the local church … It’s a global ministry. We’ve got to have a global search.”
Weeks is still serving probation for an August 2007 attack on Bynum outside an Atlanta area hotel. He was charged with aggravated assault as a first offender and has completed the required community service hours and anger management counseling.Crunk and Disorderly

I heard about this a few days ago. I absolutely refused to watch the video. Why feed his ego by increasing the hits on his webpage????
Any woman that will choose to get with a convicted wife beater is sicker than Thomas Weeks.
Why am I not shocked by this? The man is a disgrace and a gutter-snip. These women who hope to be his 3rd, need medical help and Holy Spirit help. How can you want a man who refused to take responsibility for beating his wife? It boggles the mind.

As a clergywoman, this horse and pony story sickens me. The Black Church has hit a new low. Not only can you cheat, lie, steal, and assault someone and keep your Church. You also get rewarded with an international reality internet show that will bring you your next victim. Get the Hades out of here!!!!!! With idiotic behavior such as this, I am convinced that certain segments (not all, but A LOT) of the Black Church is nothing more than a cult that positions itself to exploit woman and flip a profit. The show should be called, “Who will get the next A*# Kicking from Bishop Weeks”. As a black liberated clergywoman that operates in her freedom daily, I pray that my sisters in the church would finally get to a point where they see their self-worth. God wants so much more for woman, She really does!!!!!!!
i first heard of juanita when my elder gave me the video "no more sheets." i listened to it over and over again. the lesson remains in my heart.
That's it. I'm pairing down my choices between the Lutherans and the Catholics. Yes, I know the Catholic clerics have that whole molestation "thing" in their past but at least there is some sort of organized hierachy that can give the appearance of indignation. These "Bishops", mega-churches, and such have no such hierarchy to monitor them. Besides, how does one become a "Bishop" without ever having an affiliation with the diocese?
I would have tried Islam but my taste for pork creates an "issue". I don't like the idea of one of the fellow brothers or congregants giving me the greeting while I am placing a slab of baby backs in my shopping cart.

Greetings: Matthew 7: "Judge not, lest ye be judged"! So many judged mother Bynum but let us be critical thinkers and examine the evidence. I'll be the first to admit, being a woman, I can say we can be quite eccentric at times, and I believe that what M. Bynum was experienceing was a state of shock, and bewilderment, and her actions showed it; but look at what we are seeing in Bro. Weeks, is this show for real? My friends, the bible simply holds the truth: "in the last days men shall be lovers of themselves" this is a babe in Christ behavior. Women are we fullfilling the OT scripture: seven women to one man? Love yourself, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, come out from among them, do not be entangled again in the yoke of bondage, tell the devil get thee behind me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Physician heal thyself. You didn't get marriage right the first 2 times, so why make someone suffer for your issues, because brother you really got'em. This is the reason why the "church" in general has such a hard time winning souls for Christ!!! We of Christ try to witness to others and they throw men and women of the gospel (who have just let the enemy over take them and they don't even realize that they've been over taken) back in our faces.People of God, please wake up before it's too late. The Word states that even the elect will be deceived. Continue to watch as well as pray, because the Devil is rearing his head on every turn.
This guy like all of us in certain areas is in critical condition, but does not realize it because his attention is on himself and how he percieves himself and not on how God sees him. It is very sad to see a brother or sister in Christ blinded by pride. Pride is something that we all struggle with because we are human and a falling race. But when our eyes have been opened by the grace to God and then somewhere down the road(or climbing up the mountaintop) we take ours eyes of Christ, pride is always there waiting to get total control of ours lives again. Some of us tend to forget that humility plays a main role in the christian walk. I'm not talking about fake humilty(motive is getting praise from others...a personal high), but real humility(your heart is surrendered to Christ for real not just on paper so people can see....and admire...) that is demonstated in love for Christ and His Love working thru us. Mr. Weeks like so many of us are in need of medical attention. So we (my brothers and sisters in Christ) should help him out by pleading with our Father (The Master Physcian)to grab a hold of his heart (this goes for mrs. bynam too....the attacker and the victim. Actually, if you want to go deep with it....both are victims...) and do the deep healing that only He can accomplish(Christ). And for those that have issues in the love department because of what happened with these two.....you can ask God to help you pray for them in His love......and He will.
