The Blogmother
The plane ride was a fun one, in part because of these three right here who sat behind me and cut up the entire time. One was a Clinton supporter as evidenced by the badge and the other was an Obama supporter as evidenced by her beret, tam, or Kangol. Tes, that is a shirt made out of the Texas flag.
This fellow Texas was sporting the Barack Obama beret or Kangol as I like to call them. These were all the rage at the Texas state convention, I wonder if this was a national trend. As we are leaving on the train, someone told the guy sitting two rows back that he looked familiar. Turns out it was the son of former Texas Governor, Ann Richards.
I ended up on the shuttle ride from hell. THANKS SUPER SHUTTLE! I was on the shuttle with a member of the Credentials Committee and I heard an interesting tidbit for all of you Black bloggers who are Harold Ford fans. One of the girls on my bus said that she got shoved out of the way as someone was attempting to intorduce Harold to the Ambassodor to/from Jordan. She said that that was when she realized that this was no ordinary gather. You think? The video is file it too large I have to break it up to upload it, but it was an interesting conversation.
DNCC Hotel Help Desk- FREE LIGHT RAIL
The two women who are working the DNCC help desk at my hotel were extremely friendly. They said that with convention credentials, I can ride the light rail for free all week. UMM HMM I asked her where they heard that from because I am not trying to get a fine behind $4
Don't forget to like our Facebook Page. We shut down our NING network. My book More Than Words is now available for download for $3.99 |

I like the mobile access but had difficulty posting without changing back to the original version. Keep up the good work and continue to enlighten us as the Convention progresses.
Where did you get your Obama Kangol? I've been looking EVERYWHERE online, and can't figure out how to get one. I can understand why they were the rage--how cool! Thanks!
Hello...I'd also like to know where I might be able to get an Obama Kangol! I saw them at the DNC...and I've been searching endlessly for one ever since! can you help??? Thanks...
