Democratic National Convention Open Thread: What Do you Want to Know?

The good news is that SO FAR things are a GO for Denver. Tha bad news is that 48 hours ago, my body lost the battle with this round of seasonal allergens.  Its my own fault. I had early warning signs to start taking the allergy meds, but was too busy. I'm paying for it now.  But anyway here is an open thread for your pre convention musing.  What have you heard? What are you going to do? What do you want to know about? etc.

Gina,

Could you possibly ask Leah Duaghtry and Howard Dean why they chose to allow Bishop Charles Blake to speak at the Convention when he crafted a proclomation to support a Constitutional Amendment to ban Gay Marriage?

Blake is the head of the COGIC, the largest African-American Pentecostal Denomination, which has a penchant for vehement homophobia.

Given the discrimination lawsuits that Dean and Daughtry are facing because they stand accused of wrongfully terminating a gay staff member, why would they invite such an inflammatory speaker to an event where gays comprise a substantial and politically active voting bloc?

Just sayin'... if you get the chance.

How to get an invite to the Google/Vanity Fair party. They're going to have an entire room dedicated to Guitar Hero.

Seriously, I want to meet Cynthia McKinney because she is speaking at a few counter-convention events. I also want a light shone on those protesting the corporatism of the parties. Groups like Recreate 68, We Are Change Colorado, Progressive Democrats of America, Tent State and others. We need establishment candidates but we need the real change agents as well.
