As we all know, YouTube is teeming with videos demonstrating hatred and disdain for Black women. The irony is that most of the anti-BLack woman hatred spewed on YouTube comes from other Black people.

Wow, who knew "You're a Slut" while spewing profanity and quoting the Bible was an effective way to win an argument.

Listen to them say that when the time comes "We're gon' be Killin these Black B*tches!" "We'll be chopping th F*ck Out of them.". Yeah that's biblical.

That dirty phrase must've rung in the ears of those women long into the night.

This is where self-worship will get you. Willing to KILL someone else because they challenge self-"sovereignty". Perhaps the most disturbing part was the indoctrination of the men surrounding this debacle (see the last minute or so). They were still willing to subscribe to this distortion of God's word just because it placed them in a position of perceived power over someone else.

I really struggled with whether or not to send this in. Hate to bring spirits down, but I wanted to see if anyone else had heard about this type of "preaching." It seems like the video got worse with each passing second. At first I thought the women should just walk away, but I could only imagine what it would feel like to be in that moment, so I understand. When they were alternating between foul language and bible scripture, I just thought they were ridiculous, but then they start talking about chopping us up and it got pretty real to me. What really saddened me was the group of Black men watching this foolishness. Was there not one among them that loves Black women enough to walk away?! Finally, all of them appeared to have come from a Black woman, so "when that time comes" are they going to take them out too?

All I know is whenever "that time" that they're talking about doing this comes, the Nikes will be laced up and they'll have to catch this "Black B*tch" to chop me up!

This video is disturbing, to say the least. It makes sick to my stomach to see the amount of hatered that some black men have for us. I don't understand why bm don't understand that if you hate the bw you hate youself. I also don't understand why youtube has taken the video down. I guess that it's wrong to make hateful videos about eveyone else except black women.

Why post something like this? I understand the premise (you argue that Black men hate Black women)....yada yada....I see that constantly here (the all Black men are POS mantra)... but this???

My image of you goes down a notch whenever you take these weird turns.

Now you are saying that YOUR view of her has changed?? It is not important for you to ponder the view of black women writers in the blogosphere about some of YOUR OWN choices in what is posted at YOUR OWN blog?

I'm just asking if you have thought about the impressions that your own choices have left with others...

I have made numerous postings that point out insulting and degrading depictions of Black women that are purpetuated by the Hip Hop culture/modern Black culture. Yes.

I myself have never made such depictions... but I do criticize modern Black culture for doing so and for creating a culture of acceptance of these images. And I reject and denounce the culture responsible for accepting and spreading these images...of both Black men and women...and I am not a part of that culture.

I don't think you are familiar with my blog at all. I believe (and correct me if I'M wrong) that you may have read one post and you have formed some sort of opinion (with the help of your preconceived notion of what a Black man is...and how all of them are the same, aren't ----, are POS, etc etc)... based on one posting that you may have read.

But I don't see your point here.

My issue with this posting is that it was a bad example to use to highlight the anti-Black male point that she was trying to make.
And I will agree with you all... a large number of Black males are screwed up...perhaps a majority. But there is a small minority that does not fit the picture you paint.

The example used here is some sort of a cult group...a group that is not big enough to even be considered a fringe group for God's sake. Not even a fringe within a fringe.

But they are supposed to represent the "Black male"?

One of the reasons I hate being a Black man is because I am constantly being defined on radio, TV, Newspapers, magazines. And it's usually some negative depiction of what i'm supposed to be. And the sickness is spewed from all over.. from Blacks, Whites, Women, Asians, Hispanics, you name it. I have to say... the variety is interesting. One day i'm a rapper, another day I may be a step n' fetchit type of character, the next I may be a drug dealer in the hottest movie, then a murderer, a rapist, a philanderer/playboy/thug, a deadbeat dad....an abuser...you get the picture. Now my image is of some semi-fringe cult that hates Black women. Of course I know these images don't reflect me personally...but with so much of this sickness out there bombarding people via the media, literally on a constant basis (24 hours a day), these images begin to co-opt reality and begin to reflect all men with Brown skin. That annoys/offends the Hell out of me.

At least when I make a point about something that is wrong regarding some Black women, I use mainstream examples. I also make an effort to point out that I am not referring to all Black women... but a large number. On the contrary, when you all go on one of your anti-Black male tirades, you don't even bother to use a caveat. It would be nice if the effort could be made.

I wouldn't even call those cats "anti-black woman". "Anti-human" would be a more complete fit. Point being, using them as a ledger is akin to going to a Klan meeting and using that as a basis for whites feelings about blacks.
