Roland Martin is a Journalist

To my readers who don't visit the blog daily, but get the best of WAOD via Feedburner, I wanted to clarify a post that went out yesterday.

Roland Martin is not a gossip blogger. For those unfamiliar with Roland's bio, he is a journalist, former newspaper editor, CNN contributor and popular radio talk show host in the Chicago area. He happens to have a blog on ESSENCE.com called, The Roland Report ,that I frequently site for behind the scenes details related to events involving members of the Black Elite Establishment.

When I said nobody dishes dirt on the Black Elite Establishment better than Roland, WHAT I MEANT WAS... Due to his extensive contacts and sources developed over his storied career, no other journalist has a front seat to what goes on behind the scenes of the Black Elite Establishment. We thank him for behing willing to share those details that we otherwise would not have access to.
