Alexis Goggins on Good Morning America

Little Alexis Goggins, the girl who took 7 bullets for her mother after thrusting her body between her mother and the mother's crazy ex boyfriend was on Good Morning America yesterday. Check out the video. Alexis is recovering at a faster pace than anticipated and has returned to school while continuing to undergo physical therapy.

She is an adorable little girl and a miracle. The did a five minute segment on her so there is lots of video.

The makeup and hair people have Robin Roberts looking better than ever. I hope her cancer treatment is going well. I am glad Robin did the interview you know she wanted to askthe Mama some more questions.

My Lord: I was JUST THINKING about little Alexis THIS MORNING!!! Before I read this post! I'm in too much of a rush in the morning to watch TV, but I'm sure she was tear-inducing adorable.

God's blessings to her and Robin Roberts, as they both continue to heal.

I think that is just a sad story... a child has to risk her own life because of her mother's dysfunctional relationship?! This is not a tear-jerker! I am FURIOUS.

i am so pleased with her recovery-physical and her mental/emotional as well.

i pray that her mom has rec'ed some type of "get my mind straight" counseling--if not she may go get another like that one that did the damage.

restoration must take place inside as well as outside!
that little girl has a very bright and very large future and i do hope that jealousy and envy do not rob her of it.

I am so relieved that Alexis will physically recover. I can only hope that the adults in her life have the sense to understand that she has invisible wounds that can not be healed by surgery in a hospital.

I pray that they find an excellent child therapist for this adorable child, so that she can recover from the emotional trauma as well.

(By the way... her chubby cheeks are TOO CUTE!)

I think Robin Roberts was having to hold herself back because there was almost a simmer in her eyes when she looked at the mother.

Or maybe that was my imagination.

I would love for the mother to become a spokesperson for "DON'T DATE CRAZY FELONIOUS EX CONS WITH A HISTORY OF GUN VIOLENCE"

Alexis represents so many children who erroneously believe that it is their role to protect their parents and not the other way around.

I am glad she is doing better.

I am glad to read that Alexis is recovering. I hope that she is restored a hundred times over during her lifetime. Hopefully mom will recover also and grow to be a better judge of character. As for the man who shot Alexis~God does not like ulgy! So it will be what it will be for him.

As far as QE's remarks~apparently she hasn't looked at her folks lately~or herself! They are some kind of scary too!

I am Alexis grandmother all of these comments about Alexis are beautiful and I thank you all for your prayers and my son thanks you to. She still is going through a lot for past and present illnesses but with God's hands on her and her mother they WILL be O.K. Grandma W.
