Maya Rudolph returned to Saturday Night Live to impersonate Michelle Obama. She and the guy that's been doing the Barack Obama imitation sang a rendition of "Solid as Barack" to the tune of "Solid as a Rock." Video after the jump

bleh. I'm not buying these white folks playing the Obamas. They brought Queen Latifah on to play a bit role, why couldn't they bring in Kim Wayans or Debra Wilson or ANYBODY else to play Michelle and Obama? These guys don't do it well. (And yes, I know Maya is not white!)
Kim Wayans appears to be sorta 'retired' from being in front of the camera anyway. I heard that she and her husband have been writing kids books. And Debra Wilson can audition for a better show that SNL I'm sure! And SNL and Mad TV are so much alike she might be tired of that kind of thing.
SNL's good days were the 70s or at least through the early 80s, and Mad TV was better in the beginning.
The Obamas on SNL are a joke and simply black face comedy. It is a shame when real life out paces art in terms of diversity. Of course it should be the other way and SNL is simply a bastion white liberal hypocrisy like most of the NYC.
Oh yea Mya is biracial. And yes it matters! Why? . . . Is Michelle biracial?
