A couple of weeks ago, we posted Black Woman Walking by Tracey Rose. Yesterday I received an email from Tracey asking for help on behalf of a graduate student conducting research on street harassment. Many of you shared your stories here on the blog in the comments section. I hope you will use your blogs and your email contacts to help gather research on this extremely important issue. The survey is being conducted via survey monkey. Here is the note from Tracey Rose and the researcher:
Please pass this around on your blogs, your myspace pages, facebook, your emails. Trust me, with as much junk email as folks send me, you can afford to send this one around.
Again, you can complete the survey by going here.
I received an email yesterday from a young woman doing her master's thesis on street harassment, but she needs a bit of help with a research survey. Would you be open to posting a link to her survey for your readers?
If so, here is the information below.
Thanks,
Tracey

Also, I'm in my last few days of conducting an informal, anonymous online survey about stranger interactions in public (to collect people's views, experiences, stories). https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=2zNzxBfuyVVLMKcoXoEtjQ_3d_3d I'd love if you would take it and share it widely. I'm trying to collect a range of experiences & stories. Men can take it as well.
Thanks,
Holly Kearl

Thank you so much for your help & for posting my survey link! And thanks in advance to anyone who takes it. It's an unscientific, informal survey, but it is a useful way for me to collect more stories and perspectives on stranger interaction in public.
Was the original post an excerpt from the movie? If so, where might I get the full version?
Can I copy and paste this whole post on my blog? (w/due credits, of course)
