Warning: If you are already feeling lousy after reading about Dunbar Village and Newark, skip this post and return to it when you feel better.
Remember when I mentioned this crime in my post "The Five Stages of Grief?" Why the hell didn't we hear about this horror? UPDATE: OH wait, this just gets worse.
I guess all of y'all who don't believe in statutory rape are going to say that the 11 year old was just being fast, right? Hmm one of the perps pulled out the R. Kelly defense
So as long as she is a "girlfriend", sex with the underage girl is okay?
Seriously, this is utterly ridiculous! It is time to declare an end to open season on Black women and girls. Let the battle between Black folks with common sense and those without commence. We might not be victorious, but we have to at least try.
Why aren't we seeing articles on the crisis of the young Black woman? Why do we always seem to be marching on behalf of those accused of crime, but say little or ignore completely victims of crime? Is this poverty's fault again? Not trying to start nuthin', I'm just asking.
UPDATE: Well at least now we know what Rev. Sharpton has been busy doing instead of issuing a statement about crimes against black women and girls. For those who say the Rev. Does not know about Dunbar Village, one of my readers called into his show and I have exchanged e-mails with his indecency initiative chief. So he knows, he just doesn't care as much about this issue as much as he craves getting into a cat fight with a Hip hop "artist."

He went to a locked bedroom in his house in the 3700 block of N. 6th St. where he heard "moaning" from inside and eventually was let into the room, where he saw "12, 13 or 14" other men and teens present. He said the girl was freely having sex with several men during the hour he was present, but another man in the room had told her not to have sex with Gurley. She eventually acquiesced, he said, at someone else's urging. The criminal complaint says that person was the 15-year-old boy who is charged."I thought she was a boy's girlfriend," he said.
(hmmm where have I heard THAT BEFORE)
So as long as she is a "girlfriend", sex with the underage girl is okay?
He said that he never spoke with the girl and that he didn't think about using a condom. The police officer who arrested Gurley broke the news that the girl was 11, and he later learned the girl had been born with HIV.
It wasn't just men participating in this horror, but they had a 16 year old female instigator:
[T]he girl told police she went to Gurley's house to visit the 16-year-old girl now charged in the case. That older girl suggested the victim perform sex acts with several boys in the house, the victim told police, and she did so, sometimes with more than one person at a time. Some records suggest the older girl directed the victim;

If i'm not mistaken, this happened in Milwaukee, quite some time ago... (this happened 1-2 years back).
Definitely still a shocking story.
The girl was lured to the house by another young lady.... other young women were apparently part of the abuse.
Several were eventually charged in this case.
The most shocking part was the owners & adults in the home who initially tried to say that they didn't know anything...
Milwaukee has had a few crazy stories over the past few years.
I am so disgusted. I don't even know where to...........
Lord Have Mercy!!!
NO, the Lord doesn't need to have mercy on these folks. I can think of a few things I could ask for from the Lord, but mercy ain't one of them.
I am seriously going to have to take a vacation. I am beginning to think that mankind is screwed up beyond repair. I know that is not the case, but man being immersed yourself in this foolishness skews your perspective.
So the older girl used the younger girl as a weapon to spread AIDS. WT___??? She probably thought this was funny.
These teens and men need to be hung by their male private parts. They probably have contracted the virus and is now spreading it to other black women or victims. NICE!!!!
Why is this world so impressed with the devil???? He only comes to steal, kill and destroy.
This world is becoming more insane by the minute.
I wasn't asking the Lord to have mercy on these people, but to have mercy on rest of us. How did this happen? How did it come to this? How could these people do this to this child? I just cannot wrap my mind around that.
Evil is the only word that comes to mind. What these "people" did to this child was just plain evil.
This 16 year old female who instigated this whole thing being the most vile of them all. Not only did she cause the brutalization of an 11 year old child, but she created an army of HIV infected assassins to go out and infect other unsuspecting women and girls who will then infect other males who will infect other females.... and on and on it goes.
I will say it again, what was done to that child was not only criminal, it was downright evil.
you got to be kidding me? wtf! this is nuts. i heard this through conversation and i couldn't believe it until i read the headlines. (no one could tell me where it happened or what actually went down)
11? holy smokes... she was raped..>! there is no bones about this...
wtf!
Now I don't want to start any trouble but from what I read on both sides was that the 16 year old got her to come over, proposed that she have sex with a few of the guys there and she then did so?
Am I mistaken? I guess my question is how did all of these men get there? Why didn't she leave? Was she threatened? Did she feel threatened? Was the 15 year old really her boyfriend?
I am taken aback by this. There are no words. I'm 25 years old and I don't even have that many partners.
Okay sorry I missed the other story. That poor baby. *SMDH* The devil is alive and well on planet earth.
I'm mad he said "she looked grown"
There's nothing grown looking about an 11 year old, I don't care how developed she is. He didn't ask cuz he didn't care.
she apparently was a willing participant according to the story. A rape and a gang bang are not the same. This girl should be chrged with the crime of knowingly spreading HIV
The "Reverand" Sharpton isn't interested in anything unless it creates money for him, or notoriety. He is as guilty for raping the entire black population as these men are for raping this girl. He does nothing but promote a welfare mentality among blacks. He is a phoney and in it for the glory. He shouldn't be called Reverand.
i think it is discusting that 20 peopl raped a girl in a house and an audlt stood by and did nothing
This is simply a sign of the times we live in. Jesus Christ is soon to return.
