I am sorry to hear about Asia’s death. I am glad the family has the courage to keep the websites up although I am sure it is hard some days with the terrible comments from small people.

I also live in Detroit area and never really heard the full story.. just the headlines murder/suicide. I always thought it was a boyfriend/girlfriend situation because I never heard the full story just the headlines.

I found the full story through Asia’s you tube website that I somehow stumbled on to. I am horrified and deeply saddened to find the full story. I am shaken by the whole stalker situation obviously because Asia was beautiful and full of life and unfortunately caught the attention of a very disturbed man.

Once again, thanks to the family for keeping up the sites, it not only is a legacy to her memory but also to keep spreading the word of what really happened and hopefully bring focus to the problem of mental illness and dangers of stalkers.

God bless you and know in your heart that Asia is in His Presence right now.

Sad for you because you miss her so much but rejoice for her… because she is really, truly in a happier place… she is with Him.

i barely cry over anything in life,but straight up yall as man i am in tears today seeing this.

i want to cry with all the mothers and fathers,since i am a dad.i just really want to cry reading this.my god…RIP to her.really tragic,why couldn’t he just off himself i really feel bad for her family,and her family members who are reading and seeing this blog.thank you for broadcasting it

There is no religious angle nor black women angle to this story other than he spoke about both as a passionate subject. This man had an illness, a serious problem that was quite evident in his videos. I am so tired of people screaming “look how far black women haters can go” or “look at the religious nut”. Stop using this tragedy as a protest for your stance.

I will be the first one to state that people like sargewp got some issues of his own to handle or that religion has its negative faults, but neither belong to this situation as an explanation or example of a particular stance other than mentally ill individuals need to be taken more seriously.

He wasn’t stalking her. The facebook stalker was someone else who was also leaving hate comments on her video that she deleted. Tony knew her because he was in the same class as her. They BOTH attended the same theater arts class and knew each other.

Many murders, rapes etc. happen by people you know. Yes they knew each other and? How do we know he wasn’t stalking her?

Sad story. I think this story does illustrate how pervasive racism/sexism/hatred directed at bw in a very violent easy to get guns culture such as America, can contribute to someone with a severe mental illness in doing something so tragically wrong/criminal.

On the subject of anti-bw youtubbers, for the most part they are emotionally hurt losers who aren’t that successful with the ladies, and they blame black women for that, and they use the language and ideas of racist American culture to get that point across.

The really ironic part is that anti bw youtubbers and anti bm youtubbers often “argue” with one another, not even knowing they are both one side of the same anti-black people racist coin.

In fact, there are A LOT of people who traffic in racist hateful rhetoric about black people in general, but they, just like those youtubbers, believe they are “telling the truth” about the nature of the bm, bw or the black race.

So basically, youtube and the internets is just a new medium for Americans of all races to continue to play out their anti-black people rhetoric while calling it “truth telling”.
