When you turn the lights on, the vermin scatters about looking for cover. We’ll always have obnoxious characters posing as entertainers pimping themselves out to make a living, it’s just a part of the fabric of life; a life that I don’t support or believe in. I would think that these folks have the capacity to use their mental facilities to create something of positive value for themselves and their families, but can and will they do so or continue to engage in dangerous and useless behavior?

Folks, we’re doomed. Doomed, I tell ya. The war on black women is alive, well and adequately funded. There are many who will say this Goonette nonsense doesn’t influence the behaviors of our (young) folk. But many of us know better. Even over at Racialicious (one of my fav sites) the mods won’t even consider any discusson hip hop’s infuence on domestic violence in our community. Unbelievable. I weep for our daughters.

I always wonder how come the subject of money/economic situation is the justification of so much these days.
I would like to think that a person’s economic status and their personal MORALITY (yah know, that lost concept of right and wrong regardless of your circumstances) were not so interconnected.
But since many do argue one connects the other, I guess I delude myself.
