Oh my god...I knew Chiquita from back in her Chicago days. I had last spoke with her just before Katrina hit. I lost touch with her since then and I just performed a Google search on her name...and I see this! She was a wonderful woman and I'm deeply saddened to know I'll never see her again.

I knew Chicky back in Atlanta before she got the job at city hall. She was learning to run real estate titles in the reords room of the Fulton Co. Courthouse for a bondsman who worked in the area. She was a very special person and a good friend. This is a real tradegedy and I send my respects to her family.

Kids go back into your corners please. This is your last warning. Raise the level of discourse or just go back into lurk mode.

Also, please try some of these adjectives when making your broad sweeping generalizations about each other.
Some, Many, a few, segments of...

At this point the only goal by some of you is to wound each other. I hereby give you permission to make another choice.

Move on. Stop wasting your time interacting with someone who does not like you very much. Life is too short.

Feel free to dispute the rampant generalizations being bandied about, but every once in a while, try to remember Chiquita Tate in the conversation... after all, this post was supposed to be about HER.

@Michael and @Freddy:

Guess what, idiots? I never said ““It all points to this FACT: THE AVERAGE BLACK MALE IS A FAILURE.”

Guess what Lena. Look closely at my post and you will see that I specifically attributed that quote to KaraKT (and I meant to write "quiet" as opposed to "quite"). So please read more carefully. I noted that you DIDN'T tell her to go try to join up with the other black female members of the black KKK and spew her black man hate there.

That was someone else. Quote from the correct posts if you have something to say to me. (Although you both are starting to make a really good case for the woman who actually did say that).

Done responding to you both. Not worth my time. Going back to read about Ossie and Ruby. Peace.

@ Monica. I only brought up proper english, because Mod 2 said, "truckloads of brothers don’t want to go to school". I don't think proper english has nothing with abuse, unless the a woman don't understand a man when he say, I'll kill you....

@Sandra. A White woman or Black woman can't change a man like Mrs. Chiquita may have tried to change her alledged killer, when she stayed after the battery charge. Again, The majority of black boys are not raised by White woman or Black men, they are raised by Black women. The question is, why do they abuse someone who resemble their mother so much? Is it because they do not get enough of hugs and affection growing up or they don't see a man treat their mother with respect at all time.

@Lena. However for a black woman to say that “It all points to this FACT: THE AVERAGE BLACK MALE IS A FAILURE.”, that's saying that the majority of black women judgement of a man is a failure, the majority of black women who lay down with a man is a failure, when the majority of black women have a baby it's a failure. You remember that commentator that said, "If you want to solve the crime problem, abort all black male babies". You are a million times worst, because you want to abort your own race and children. You might as well open up and give your seed up. Trust me, you don't want to go there with me, my mind is to deep.

If white women are so much better at motivating their men to act like men (which would also mean that it's white women who actually wield the power in their culture), then why are they not similarly successful in motivating the black men they are with? The black men with white women are using up these white women the same way they have been using up black women. We're seeing the same kinds of mistreatment of white women by black men as they have doled out to black women. White female/black male marriages have a high divorce rate. If the white woman were really the "key" in the male/female pairing, then we would see the black men who are with white women acting and achieving more like white men. Yet we are not seeing that. So, needless to say, I don't think much of this theory as advanced by Michael and Freddy.
