Y’all know I am not a fan of CNN. Not after they gave the Blackwoman/self-hating minstrel DL Hughley a platform to embarrass us on the eve of the election of the first African American president. Coincidence? I think not!

I’ve already given my opinion about Soledad O’brien’s “Black in America” also known at “The Parade of Black Pathology or “Black Folks It Sucks 2 B U“.
I do however read CNN.com daily and they’ve been doing some important reporting or should a say re-reporting about conditions in the Congo for Black women and children in the Congo. They’ve also been running online pieces about people who attempted to prevent genocide, but were ignored. Last night they aired the full documentary called Screaming Bloody Murder by Christiane Amanpour.
They share a deep sorrow: an idealistic American who tried to protect the Kurds of Iraq, a Canadian general who refused to follow orders in Rwanda, a French priest who fought for the soul of Cambodia.
Each one tried to focus the world’s attention on the world’s most heinous crime: genocide. Each time, they were shunned, ignored or told it was someone else’s problem.
To understand why, CNN’s Christiane Amanpour traveled to the killing fields of Europe, Africa and Asia for a two-hour documentary, “Scream Bloody Murder.” CNN.com

I like how they are showing that it is not just an African problem, that genocide can happen anywhere
Thank you for this program. I, and, I am sure, all Armenians were waiting to long ,to hear from CNN about Genocide of Armenians .Christiane Amanpour always does her job perfectly, but.. with all respect, she got wrong about how many Armenians were killed in 1915..there were more than 1,5 million, and the second: her work about Armenians was short.Don’t get me wrong.Genocide of Armenians happened about 100 years ago, there was not enough informacion than, and Turkey did every thing and any thing to keep it quaet .That is why would be fear to see and to hear about it no les no much…just equal.
I give the credit to Christiane Amanpour because this is her passion versus CNN’s making this a priority.

So bascially when it comes to reporting about black folks in AMERICA CNN does a pisst poor job of reflecting the truth and an awesome job of covering those “other” black folks.

Um so have you seen it? Its kind of hard to campaign against something you haven’t seen. Somebody has to have a copy of it. Nobody has scanned it in and posted it online?
But where is the discussion of the current violence in the Congo? I was disappointed to not see an acknowledgment of this tragedy.
Gina, the school pulled all copies immediately and issued a statement stating it was racist and malicious. I believe Dr. Harris-Lacewell’s assessment of its contents. So that was enough for me. I just don’t want to people to get by with some fake apology or the denial that it was offensive when they want others to prove to them that it’s not racist after the school already determined it was. I’m trying to get a copy now but they’ve shrouded everything in this veil of secrecy.

The entire Mainstream media misses the whole truth. What about the role the USA and China has in Sudan? What about Haiti where innocent children are starving to death? Tell the world the real reason for the bloodshed in the Congo. They have the power to change so much in this country and the world and they fail miserably at it because their only job has been to tell half of the truth or no truth at all.
I am a teacher and teach a unit on genocide. This documentary covers much of the information I present. I would love a copy. I taped it only to find it did not work. Does anyone have a copy? I would be more than willing to pay for it. Please let me know as soon as possible
