Michelle Obama on 60 Minutes

For those of you who missed the 60 minutes interview last night with Michelle Obama, here are the segments she appeared in. For all of those people who are lamenting Michelle’s loss of identity, it didn’t look like she didn’t know who she was last night!

What a great interview. The interactions between Michelle and Barack were refreshing. They seem to have genuine respect for each other and an enormous willingness to show it to the public.

They both were so articulate. so upfront and appeared very natural.

And to top it off they’re noth attractive! That’s always a plus.

Michelle knows exactly who she is. It’s other people who want to put her in a box that befits their perception of her. One thing she won’t be doing is undermining her husband’s Presidency or retreating into the background like a wall flower.

I agree with Faith and Cinco. The Obamas are too busy living their lives. That’s what grown folks do…. Thanks Gina for posting the videos. Sending you lots of light, love and energy. Enjoy Thanksgiving.

What a wonderful interview! Loss of identity? People must be talking about another Michelle because they sure aren’t talking about future first lady Michelle Obama.

If they are not the most ADORABLE couple ever!…I don’t know who is lol. The way they interact man I can just watch them ALL DAY! I only DREAM to find a man that I can relate to like that. Their love is beautiful and real…and you can really see it. I can’t really say the same about the current White House residents lol..

Check out the PBS Newshour segment with Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker and Gwen Ifill, which aired tonight -11.17. Lizza used the phrase “anthropological study” to describe how he is observing Michelle and Barark’s relationship. An anthropological study. Uhmm.
Sounds as if Lizza was observing two creatures from some foriegn exotic species, not two of his own fellow
Americans.

I think Michelle Obama is a good woman. I just hope she doesn’t try to hard to exert herself. I just hope she understands that her husband is about to take on the toughest job in the world at one of the worst times in history. Please don’t confuse “losing your identity” with taking a step back so Barack can lead. So she must understand that she cannot be that woman or take advice from women who grew up on the South Side of Chicago. The Obamas are in a whole different league right now.

As for Grandma- I think that she should stay in D.C. to help with the kids but not at the White House. You can’t bring these South Side traditions to the White House.

I know some of this may sound harsh, and I don’t want to offend anybody, but I, you, we elect BARACK to led this nation back to prominence NOT MICHELLE OR HER GRANDMOTHER.

PEACE
