Now that you have endorsed Senator Obama as the Presidential Nominee of the Democratic Party; I, as a long-time supporter of Senator Clinton and of the Democratic Party, urge you to do everything possible to unify this party to win the Presidential election in November. For me and millions of other Democrats, I believe that the most important step that you can take now is to encourage the Congressional Black Caucus to urge Senator Obama to select Senator Hillary Clinton as his Vice Presidential running mate.
As a businessman I understand the vitally important role that a Democratic President can play in establishing programs and policies throughout the government that stimulate and support economic opportunities for African Americans. As African Americans [BOB JOHNSON IS AFRICAN AMERICAN??]we agree that the stakes in this election are far too high to take any chances that this party will not be unified from the top to the bottom in our effort to gain control of The White House.
You know as well as I the deep affection that millions of African Americans hold for both Senator Clinton and President Clinton. You also know that Hillary Clinton has been a long-term advocate for racial and gender equality, from her early days as a lawyer with the Children Defense Fund to her prominent leadership roles on these issues as First Lady and as Senator from New York. But most important, we need to have the certainty of winning; and, I believe, without question, that Barack Obama as President and Hillary Clinton as Vice President bring that certainty to the ticket.
Jim, as the highest ranking African American in Congress, I encourage you to follow your commitment to build a unified party by helping to make this a historic election of Senators Obama and Clinton who both have demonstrated that they have the courage and the ability to inspire and lead this nation to greatness today and for years in the future.

SATAN Bob Johnson, took it upon himself to write a letter to members of the Congressional Black Caucus, urging them to urge Senator Obama to place Senator Clinton on the ticket, if only he had written a memo to his staff saying “Stop degrading Black women.” I guess he was too busy counting his Benjamins
I really don’t care who the candidates choose as their running mates, gasoline is still going to $5.50 a gallon by Labor day regardless, but it does not make me inclined to welcome Senator Clinton being added to the ticket when her main champion is one of the greatest enemies of Black women in my lifetime. What kind of woman would associated herself with a multimedia crack dealer and exploiter of women and children?. She might as well have Bishop Don Majic Juan on CNN and writing letters to the CBC.
I’m sorry, but Barack we are going to have some issues if you start following the advice of the man that brought the world “Girl What Dat Smell Like” and “P*ssy Poppin.” Think of the world this man has helped to create for the weeMichelles.

To Bob Johnson….you don’t ‘fight’ for us Black women, but you can’t wait to fight for Senator Clinton. And for some reason it now matters to you what Presidential Nominee Senator Obama does.
If Senator Obama selects Senator Clinton as his VP that’s his choice. If she and others corner him into demanding that she be placed on the ticket then it’s no longer his choice…it becomes a demand. As graceful as he has appeared to be in public to her and her supporters, they continue to demand that somehow he owes her something for getting where he is. That’s troubling.

WAODs, Bob Johnson has always been one of the worst opportunists in the history of black people in our times. He’s such a suck up to those who can make him richer that he dissed Barack by bringing up the drug issue – back in January 2008 when not a lot of people thought Obama could win. I’ll bet he regrets that move. Good.

BJ aka Satan has a lot of nerve. I saw him on some news show promotin’ this mess (read Hillary for VP).
There have been all sorts of less than political arguments swarming about why she is or isn’t fit to be on the ticket (as President or VP). Many of them drenched in misogyny and all sorts of assaults on her character. It is sad that we couldn’t see them both make history, and I can only imagine her disappointment. Yet while I have empathy for her, it’s often overshadowed by my high degree of disdain.
Clinton’s set a dismal tone throughout this campaign; from her race baiting, to her hot mess of a husband who I moderately had respect for once upon a time and her repeated foot-in-mouthed-ness (you know what I’m saying) etc.
I still need to do research on whether or not she associates herself with him. But I have to say I’d be moderately disappointed, even if not surprised, to find that her BFF was good ole’ SATAN (LOL).
Again, BJ has nerve… dare I channel NELLY’S “Tip Drill” on BET’S UNCUT?
But as I was thinking about it, I came up with a crazy little thoery.
I considered the possibility that perhaps BJ thinks himself worthy of a voice because of his viewership – just based the size of it. Maybe he sees this as an opportunity to flex his political ambition; represent “his people,” if you will.

Prince of Darkness Bob Johnson, he is something else. Barack Obama winning, must be his worst nightmare and he is concerning that he will be loosing millions and millions of dollars.
I’m not surprised that BJ is trying to get HRC on the ticket … he knows that if Barack becomes president, he won’t be invited to the White House for the next four years.
But now that HRC has freed up her schedule, I hope she takes some time to check out her surrogate’s baby, BET.
Because if she wants to see real sexist attitudes and behaviors on display, that’s a good place for it.
I’m still trying to figure out why stuff is only sexist when it thwarts a privileged woman’s lusty grab for power but when black media moguls build their power on the back of scantily clad black women, that’s acceptable.
